3 – 5k in 5 days
I’m finally making it a priority to walk in the mornings. I got out 3 days this week and I’m really happy with that! It’s one more day than last week. That’s progress. The Saturday before, Greg and I went to the track at the old YMCA on Barbur. I wanted to try running a bit without the distraction of traffic and curbs. I was pleasantly surprised at how well I did! My legs felt really great. There was still a bit of pain, but it’s so tolerable that it didn’t bother me much at all. With that success around the track, I started to add running to my morning walks. My family is a big fan of intervals and I’m definitely seeing why. I walked 3 minutes and then ran 1 minute. I repeated this for the entire 5k. Run/walking is very enjoyable and it feels sustainable. I’m excited to do more.

Ok, I just don’t get the pornographic Just Married drawings. I saw a guy driving this car a few days later and it hadn’t been washed yet. It just made me giggle.
