Stopping to Breathe

Posted on Jun 8, 2005

This week has been so hectic for me.  I’m feeling really run down.  There isn’t a direct reason for this.  It’s just been a hard week.  So I thought I would put up a picture of my other Buddha.  This one I bought in China two years ago.  I visited my cousin in Korea and we took a side trip to China together.  What an amazing experience.  I climbed the Great Wall of China (All 1500 stairs), saw the Temple of the Moon, Chinese Acrobats among many many other things.  It’s a trip I will cherish forever.

Today looking at this Buddha, I get a sense of calming.  I remind myself that it’s just a bad week in a good life.  This too shall pass.  It helps me clear my head and focus on the really important things in my life, not the busy bee hectic stuff.  It’s a good feeling.
