Moonlight Valentino

This picture was taken up at Crater Lake two summers ago.  My cousin was visiting from Korea which gave us the excuse to stay at the Crater Lake Lodge.  Amazing!  If you ever get the chance to go to Crater lake, do.  It’s so beautiful.  I will post other pictures from the trip someday.

My cousin, husband, and I were walking after dinner in the dark.  We started playing around with the digital camera.  Using the manual speeds and long exposures, the moon became our paint brush.  The nice thing about digital cameras is that you can instantly see what works and what doesn’t.  Adjustments can be made on the fly.  I remember doing this trick in high school with my SLR and wasting so much film because nothing would turn out.
