Mother’s Day

Posted on May 12, 2006

I celebrated Mother’s Day with my mom and sister last weekend.  Since my Birthday is always so close to Mother’s Day, it’s easiest to do a combo celebration.  I made my mom two Morse Code bracelets as part of her present.  The cobalt blue bracelet has my name and my husband’s name.  The green bracelet has my sister’s name and my niece’s name.

I also made one for my sister.  This bracelet has my niece’s first and middle names on it.

Happy Mother’s Day to all!  It’s the hardest job in the world, but hopefully the most rewarding.

  1. I love my Morse Code bracelet and wear it all the time even when my boyfriend tells me it doesn’t “work” with the outfit I have on! Plus I really love that mine is wood. (I’m reading that over and realize I’ve left myself open to snide comments from parties who shall remain nameless about loving wood!)
Anyway I digress. I really think you have something with all your Morse Code related stuff! SOMEDAY you will be a famous crafter, I mean ARTIST and I will be able to cash IN on all the early art of yours I have!
Oh if ONLY I hadn’t let go of that hair piece! Woulda Coulda Shoulda! haha!
