Magic Spool

Posted on Jul 10, 2006

One more thrifting find that I forgot to mention is the Magic Spool.  This little guy was made in Holland in 1978.  I don’t think it has ever been used.  It’s in mint condition with the yarn it’s original yarn.

It definitely took several tries to get the cord going.  Once I got the hang of it, I could quickly turn out lots of i-cord.

The directions are just those two red boxes.  It’s simple enough, so the pictures did the trick.  What’s up with the cowboy?

This is the project gallery for the magic spool.  I can’t wait to make a hat or an egg cozy.

  1. You know, I think what the world needs more is a whole mess of egg cozies! Lately eggs have been blantantly uncovered! Put a cozy on them I say!
