I’ve always loved taking Panorama shots with my camera.  I haven’t had the best of luck getting them to turn out well.  I really like this top shot of Mt St Helens.  I haven’t done a lot of vertical pannos, but now I would like to do more.

Here you can see the sort of problems I’ve had.  The shot looks cool, but if I crop it down, the shot looses all of it’s greatness.

Taken on our Alaskan cruise.  This was one side of the boat.

This was on the other side of the boat.  It was just beautiful.

  1. These are awesome, Jolie! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a vertical panorama before – very cool. One of my coworkers does stitched-together panoramas like yours from Crater Lake … I’ll get the URL for you.
