After a trip to the beach and a dreadful bout of food poisoning, I’m back in action. My husband and I took a quick overnight trip to Seaside, OR. It’s been years since I’ve been there. I’d forgotten how short of a drive it is from Portland. We had a beautiful sunny day when the weather man had forecasted nothing but rain. We did everything from walking on the beach, played air hockey and even rented paddle boats. It was such a fun trip. Luckily the food poisoning happened after we returned home and didn’t deter from our trip. The picture above is from Ecola State Park outside of Canon Beach. It’s one of my very favorite places on the coast.
We spotted this little guy high up in a tree while walking down to Indian Head Beach.
We explored the tide pools at Indian Head Beach. This is a close up of barnacles on rocks.
Ok, I get the no smoking, but how can anyone hate Elephant Ears. That’s just insane!
