Hair Today

Posted on Sep 6, 2007

I’ve had long hair for quite some time.  I love it, but it’s also a lot of work.  Luckily my cousin’s finance is a hairdresser.  While in Canada, he gave me a much needed haircut.

He cut my hair on the patio of our rental house.  It was very relaxing.  Notice his ultra cool hair tool belt.

The end result is pretty darn short.  I really  love it.  My  hair is natural curly, so it’s been easy to just wash and go.

In the end, he cut off about 12 inches of hair.  I had decided earlier that since my hair was so long when I did decide to cut it, I would donate my hair to Locks of Love.  I had originally thought that I had to get my hair cut at a special place to be able to donate it.  Reading their application, it’s very simple.  All I have to do is mail in my rubber banded hair to their organization.   It’s super easy.  I highly recommend it.

  1. I love your new look! You inspire me – I’d love to whack my hair off a little more, and make my hair easier to deal with, although there’s not enough right now for Locks of Love.
