I've been thinking a lot over the past couple of months about the future of That Jolie Girl. I'm so happy to be a part of Handmade in Portland and at the moment it's taking almost all of my attention. I really think that Bettie, Diana and I have started something great and I can't wait to see where this adventure takes us. But what does that mean for TJG? I think the natural thing to do is to make this blog more about my personal life. It will still be mostly a craft blog, but things like artist profiles and craft fairs will move over to Handmade in Portland. It will take a while to find this new groove, but it will happen. TJG is such a wonderful visual diary for me that I can't see my life without it.
The next two posts I'm going to put here, about my sis' wedding, were first published on HiP. I'm not going to double post all that often, but this was an event so near to my heart that I want to have them here as part of my visual diary.
The future is bright and I know there are worst things in life than trying to manage 2 blogs. I hope TJG won't take the backseat for all that much longer. I've been doing so many fun things that I just need to find the time to write about them.
