Art Gallery of Toronto

Posted on Mar 3, 2011

One of my favorite outings on this trip was visiting the Art Gallery of Toronto.  This amazing building was designed by Frank Gehry.  I was in awe of it's unique staircases and use of space.

The design created controversy when it was built, but I think it's beautiful!  The inside is gorgeous and some of the views you get are astounding!

While the building is something that could be looked at for ages, it also holds some amazing art as well.  Visiting art museums with my cousin is something we've always done.  It's something we both look forward to whenever we are together.

My favorite exhibit was David Blackwell's prints of New Foundland.  Such detailed and beautiful prints.  I'm so glad I got to see his work in person.

  1. I’m really glad we did this! It worked out perfectly because one day earlier we were working on stuff and that night we were with family. I really wanted you to have a wee bit of vacay whilst you were among us and you are always so good to show me the hip and happening when I’m in Ptown. Tdot will welcome you again anytime. Fall would probably be the most glorious. :)
