Christmas Presents from Smartwick

Posted on Mar 18, 2011

Yes, I know it's March.  And yes, I'm going to talk about Christmas presents.  :)  I thought about not posting Christmas stuff since it's practically spring, but I received some presents that I just have to share with you.  I love when I receive local or handmade gifts from friends and these gifts from my friend Smartwick are amazing!.

I've been coveting Moss's necklaces for years.  I've come very close to buying a piece for myself, but I always stop myself at the last moment.  Her crocheted pendants are just goregous.  I love this little acorn.  It's really just the cutest thing ever.

I love these Portland Bingo Cards.  I had purchased a set for my sis and secretly wanted my own.  Besides being adorable, these bingo cards are dead on.  After one walk around the waterfront, I had seen 11 of these items and would have had a bingo several times over.

Piper Ewan makes these beautiful ribbon barrettes.  I have been wearing mine with pride.

Lastly, for the grand finale, Smartwick made this incredible hat!  It's super soft and fits perfectly.  We have taken several knitting classes together over the past decade or so.  I remember our first class at the Mabel Cafe's and Knittery when Smartwick was struggling to learn how to knit.  Now, she's light years ahead of me and making beautiful things that makes my head hurt trying to figure them out.   I'm so blessed to have such great friends in my life.

  2. Awww! I’m so glad you like the gifts, and thank you both for the kind words about the hat. It really wasn’t that hard at all.
    Merry Christmas, Jolie! ;-)
