After a trip to the beach and a dreadful bout of food poisoning, I’m back in action.   My husband and I took a quick overnight trip to Seaside, OR.  It’s been years since I’ve been there.  I’d forgotten how short of a drive it is from Portland.  We had a beautiful sunny day when the weather man had forecasted nothing but rain.  We did everything from walking on the beach, played...

Yesterday was my wedding anniversary.  We went to the Chart House for an amazing dinner to celebrate.   I took this picture on the Ross Island Bridge on our way back home after dinner.   As I was taking the picture, I was thinking about how happy I am.  My husband isn’t perfect and I’m not either, but for some reason we just seem to be made for each other.  We compliment each others...

Saturday night I got to see the DGH perform at Mississippi Studios.   I used to work with Dan at a previous job.  He is one of the nicest people I’ve ever meet in my life.    Dan has a natural way of putting people at ease and he’s also crazy funny.   This was the first time I’ve seen him perform.  As the opening act, he played about 40 minutes.  It was great to see him...
