Dog Sitting

Dog Sitting

I’m back after a bit of a blog break.  I spent all last week dog sitting for my friends.  I’ve dog sat for them for a few years now, so it was easy to jump in last week.  I always have fun at their house.  Louie up above is just so adorable! I think this picture makes Wiggles look like a kangaroo. Tigger is so shy, but came around more this time.  She even jumped up on the bed with me the very...

One late night while I was channel surfing I saw a young woman playing piano in a restaurant on a cable access channel.  I was mesmerized.  The quality of the show was very bad, but her talent was crazy good.  I had to find out who she was. We celebrated my sister’s Birthday yesterday.  We  went out for a great Indian meal and then returned to her house for cake and presents.  My sister requested German Chocolate cake and I was happy to oblige since it’s one of my very favorites too. I even toasted the coconut and the pecans; something I’ve never tried before.  It was super simple to do, but you have to keep an eagle eye on the...

Today is my cousin’s Birthday. He and I have been pen pals since we were 12.  He has always lived several time zones away.  I was lucky enough to celebrate my cousin’s Birthday when I was on vacation in Canada.  I actually had all of his presents done and ready to go a month early.  Usually he gets a package from me about a month or two after his Birthday, so this was truly a big feat for me. All of his...
