Un-felted bag

I did it!  I finally finished the bag I started in my class at Lint.  I put the project down for about a month because I have been super busy.  I was worried that I wouldn’t remember how to do the Intarsia, but I picked it back up rather easily.  I think that is credit to my teacher.  So here is the ‘bag’ all done and laid out.  I needed to finish the last group of circles, sew the sides...

Watercolor – Final Class

So my watercolor class has finally ended.  This last week we did flowers.  I’m super happy with this top painting.  I love the vase and I’m very happy with the flowers.  Besides focusing on flowers we also learned about using resists.  A resist is something added to the paper to make the watercolor ‘resist’ sticking to the paper.  Each center of the flower has chalk pastels to help...

Finally, Short Fuses lives again…sort of.  This is stuff that I made several months ago, and just got back.  My kiln partner has been busy with her own venture of opening a coffee shop.  So Short Fuses is on the back burner.  Which is totally fine.  Being the natural procrastinator that I am, I’m all for waiting until she gets the coffee shop off the ground.  Plus if I’m nice to her, I...
