More Glass Class Pieces

Here are some more creations from my glass class.  The flower is 8 inches by 4 inches.  I really liked how this turned out.  I think it would be really pretty hanging in a window. Some of the color in the tulip doesn’t show up very well.  It actually showed up way better in this photo than it does in real life.  I’ve thought about adding more color to it and re-firing it, but I’m a bit to...

Bracelet

My husband and I babysat our friends’ 6 year and 2 year old twins.  We had a great day.  We got to play outside for hours and also play trucks (the twins favorite) inside.  While the twins napped, the 6 year old and I made a bracelet.  I brought of a huge bag of plastic beads that I had gotten at a garage sale.  We strung the beads on stretchy cord to make elastic bracelets.  This is my creation...

Glass Class

I am now taking another glass class.  I’ve been in it a couple of weeks now and these are the first things I have taken home.  I had taken this class because I thought I would have the opportunity to make large plates.  Since the class is so large, the biggest thing we can make are 4"x4" tiles.  So that is what’s above.  The piece on the left I’m very happy with.  This is a new...
