These pictures didn’t quite fit into my whole raindrops on roses theme I posted before.  Still I like these enough to post them now.  This is one of the many benches that were much to wet to sit on.  I love the contrast in colors of the wood and the moss growing in the cracks. This is a concrete garbage can.  I loved the bright red with the green...

Rain Drops at Destination Imagination

Rain Drops at Destination Imagination

Posted on Apr 17, 2007

On Saturday morning before Destination Imagination, I had about an hour to kill before reporting for duty.  I had wanted to find a place where I could read my book.  It had just rained, so there wasn’t a dry place to sit.  Instead, I got out my camera and took some pictures.  I was trying to practice photographing drops of water.  I’ve cropped most of these pictures.  Cropping gives me the...

Some of the color in the tulip doesn’t show up very well.  It actually showed up way better in this photo than it does in real life.  I’ve thought about adding more color to it and re-firing it, but I’m a bit to...

My husband and I babysat our friends’ 6 year and 2 year old twins.  We had a great day.  We got to play outside for hours and also play trucks (the twins favorite) inside.  While the twins napped, the 6 year old and I made a bracelet.  I brought of a huge bag of plastic beads that I had gotten at a garage sale.  We strung the beads on stretchy cord to make elastic bracelets.  This is my creation...
