Hello Etsy: Portland

Hello Etsy: Portland is tomorrow!  I’ve been so excited to attend this sold out conference geared towards the small business owner – not just crafters.  The schedule of speakers is top notch and I know I’m going to learn so much. A few months back, my good friend Jen Neitzel (co-chair of Hello Etsy) asked if I would be willing to prepare all the materials for the “make your own conference program journal”.  These...

Art in the Pearl

Art in the Pearl is one of my very favorite events.  It is held during Labor Day weekend in the North Park Blocks.  I’ve been out of town the past couple of Labor Days, so it was such a treat to be able to attend this year.     The quality of art at this juried show is just astounding.  Every booth was more amazing that the one before it.  I was so inspired by how creative people are.  This show is more geared...

Trusty Sidekick

I met my newest cousin last month at a family function in Idaho.  I wanted to get him a present and knew that this onesie from Trusty Sidekick was just the thing.  I had first heard of Trusty Sidekick when she was at the booth next to me at a craft fair a few years ago.  I just love her brilliant idea for kids clothes and she is also super, super nice.  Go buy her stuff!     I also bought this cape for new...
