Craft Magazine

Craft Magazine

Posted on Jun 7, 2007

My good friend got me a subscription to Craft magazine for my birthday.  I had wanted to get this before, but I never felt I could cough up the money for this expensive magazine.  When I got it home, I read it cover to cover and fell in love.  I kicked myself for not getting it previously and can’t wait to get more.  I liked the broad categories of crafts offered and there were plenty of ideas I want to try...

New fused glass pieces

New fused glass pieces

Posted on Jun 5, 2007

These pieces are from my very last glass class I took months ago.  The class started up again and my sister, who is taking the class, was able to pick up these pieces for me.  I think she was going to keep them for herself, but I finally remembered to ask her for them. I love the pieces above.  The top piece is several inches long. I also think these pieces turned out well.  The bottom two will made into...

This was one of the very few precious moments of sun. Barnacles from a float that we found on the beach. Lots of gray...

Tutorial – Celtic Knot #2

Tutorial – Celtic Knot #2

Posted on May 16, 2007

Looking at my stats on Typepad (just as addicting as ego surfing), I’ve noticed that the first Celtic Knot tutorial that I did is by far the post with the most visits.   Because of that, I had been wanting to post another tutorial.  Then I had someone ask for help and I figured now was the time. This tutorial will be similar to the last one just because it’s the same method.  This knot is a lot more...
